Before Ember & Etch Studio, there was Firre Scents—a small candle company born from a simple love of fragrance and the quiet ritual of a flame. Those early years of hand-pouring wax, learning the craft, and listening to what people truly wanted in their homes shaped everything we do today.

As our passion for craftsmanship grew, so did our vision.

What began with hand-poured candles naturally expanded into precision laser engraving—creating keepsakes that celebrate milestones, preserve memories, and transform everyday items into something deeply personal. The warmth of the ember met the permanence of the etch, and Ember & Etch Studio was born.

Today, our studio brings together two timeless crafts: the comforting glow of handcrafted candles and the lasting beauty of personalized engraving. Together, they create gifts and home décor designed to celebrate life's meaningful moments.

Based in Newark, Delaware, everything we create is produced in small batches—by choice.

Working in smaller runs allows us to stay hands-on through every step of the process. Every soy candle is hand-poured. Every engraving is carefully designed and finished. Every order is inspected, packed, and prepared with the same level of care we'd expect if it were our own.

We choose soy wax because it burns cleaner and longer. We select quality woods like walnut, acacia, and bamboo because natural materials tell a story all their own. And we intentionally keep many of our collections limited because we'd rather create something meaningful than mass produce something ordinary.
