Preparing for Golden Hours and Summer Releases
There is something exciting about a new collection.
The ideas.
The scents.
The vision.
But before a collection ever reaches a shelf, there is a lot happening behind the scenes.
Right now, the studio is deep in preparation mode as we get ready for the arrival of our Golden Hours Summer Collection.
The fragrance oils have arrived.
Now the real work begins.
Car diffusers are first on the list. Bottles need to be filled, assembled, and prepared for market. It's one of those jobs that seems simple until you're sitting at the workbench surrounded by bottles, fragrance oils, labels, and supplies.
Then come the candles.
Jars need to be engraved.
Boxes need labels.
Inventory needs counted.
Supplies need checked.
Every collection starts as a series of small tasks that eventually become something larger.
One step.
One scent.
One candle at a time.
As we're preparing for summer, we're also taking a fresh look at our Destination Collection.
One of the things that makes those candles special is that no two are ever repeated. Once a design finds its home, it's retired and a new story takes its place.
That means part of our preparation isn't just making products.
It's dreaming about what comes next.
What memory should we capture?
What place should we visit?
What feeling should we preserve?
Those questions are becoming part of our daily conversations around the studio.
Preparing for a launch is exciting, but it's also a reminder that meaningful things rarely happen overnight.
They are built slowly.
With intention.
With patience.
With plenty of coffee.
And sometimes with a growing checklist sitting on the workbench.
Over the next few weeks we'll be pouring, engraving, testing, organizing, and getting everything ready for summer.
It's a lot of work.
But it's also one of my favorite parts of the process.
Because before a collection becomes part of someone's home, it begins here—in the quiet moments of creating.
And that's where the magic happens.
